Michael Longfellow is a Law Clerk at Freed Grant LLC where he assists attorneys on a variety of matters as he pursues his law degree from Emory University School of Law. Michael’s anticipated graduation date is May 2024. He is pursuing a Litigation Specialization at Emory Law.
Michael has been involved in the Environmental Law Group and the Volunteer Clinic for Veterans at Emory. This clinic specializes in assisting low-income veterans. The environmental group conducts volunteer programs such as tree plantings while the veterans group helps former members of the military with matters such as wills and discharge upgrades. Michael also participated in a moot court competition focused on veterans’ issues.
Michael served a three-month internship at the Georgia Court of Appeals where he was exposed to a wide variety of legal matters. Michael enjoys working on different types of cases where he can help make a positive difference for clients.
At Freed Grant LLC, Michael provides important legal support through detailed research, drafting of documents, and working with courts in securing information about ongoing matters.
After earning his undergraduate degree from the University of Louisville, Michael moved to Atlanta to study law at Emory. He has a strong interest in history and different regions of the world.
